Mm yeah usually depends on what anime. For example
Naruto in my opinion is really bad dubbed cause of how it's aimed at children. This causes a lot of censorship and makes the lines seem cheesy.
But an anime I found good dubbed was Cowboy Bepop. This was because of how it was set with a western feel to it, hence the cowboy in cowboy Bepop.
So yeah overall 95% of the times I watch anime subbed.

alot of dubbing companies are good, some are bad.

FUNimation = usually pretty good, aims more at older teens and adults
VIZ Media = kinda hit and miss, aims at everyone
A.D. Vison = wouldn't know, havent watched anything by them
4kids = .... you said anime dub, right? ....

Funimation did good with DBZ(better then original jap.ver.) and One Piece.

4kids did good with Pokemon and Yugioh.

I prefer dub only because when I watch anime I tend to watch it in REALLY BIG PORTIONS. like 8-15 eps at a time. And when I have to watch 8-15 eps at a time focusing very carefully on writingon the screen it gets kind of annoying. With dub its better coz I can just lay back and enjoy it more.
but thats just me Razz

I prefer dub most of the time just because, since i'm not good at it, i have to pause and read and it's a little distracting
I think 4kids is bad.
I can't watch the yugioh series because its really cheesy in dub.
Viz media did a great job on bleach.
Almost all the characters sound like the originals, though some times its, again, cheesy.

Like in the first episode of Bleach after he gets his powers, before he kills the hollow he yells, "feel the wrath of my blade!" It's not a bad thing, it makes me laugh
