Platinum games for playtstation?

Just wondering, but does anyone here hate when games go platinum. Don't mean to go all nerdy and all, but I just can't stand when a game like final fantasy becomes all silvery and makes the case look like crap.

Platinum? Guess That's A Foreign Thing. Actually I Guess PS1 Had It. For PS3 It's Greatest Hits, With A Red Label. But Ya I Agree With You It Does Ruin The Case+Game Disk, I Like The Original Feel ^^

how come playstation greatest hits sounds like playstation crappiest hits?

I mean when it comes to gaming, im all action and street racing, i some time ago got nfs pro street for ps2, it was a platinum edition and the game trully sucks, except for having the bmw m3 from most wanted, but you have to modify it to look like it!

im more into prince of persia, dbz, i also have yugioh capsule monster colliseum, but ive finished it 'bout 4 times!

so to me yeah, the platinum edition really screws the game case and game disc
